Cargill Storytime Science Kits

Thanks to the generous support of Cargill, we are distributing kits to all Evart Elementary students, which contain hands-on activities paired with a read-aloud book, and classroom resources.  Kits are packaged individually for flexibility in use by virtual students at home or in classrooms. 
Kit #1:  Animals in Winter
Discover what animals do during winter, create some creatures out of modelling clay, and play with "instant snow". 
Kit #2:  Things that Glow
Write a secret message that lights up under UV light, and experiment with some glow-in-the-dark stars and glow sticks.  
Kit #3:  Dinos and Fossils
Identify some real fossils, and then excavate a dinosaur from its egg.  ​

Kit #4:  Sunlight
Make a bracelet, lanyard or bead creature using sun-sensitive beads, and then experiment to see how well you can block the sun's rays.
