Kit #2: Things that Glow
First, listen to a read-aloud with Mrs. Bailey of the book Glow: Animals with Their Own Nightlights, by W.H. Beck. There are different options to choose from based on student age or time available.

Next, open your kit, and follow the instructions inside. You'll be making a black light secret message (check out Steve Spangler Science for more info), and experimenting with glow-in-the-dark stars and glow sticks.

- Video about bioluminescence
- Use your highlighter to make letter matching cards, or flashcards to work on vocabulary. Study your letters or words using your black light flashlight!
