Kit #4: Sunlight
First, listen to a read-aloud with Mrs. Bailey, Bats at the Beach, by Brian Lies. Unlike most of us who play at the beach during the sunny daytime, the bats in the story go to the beach at night (they need “moon-tan” lotion instead of sunscreen!).
Next, open your kit, and follow the instructions inside. The UV sensitive beads in your kit react to the sun. Make something with your beads, and then experiment with the beads to see what happens in the sunlight.
